CitiPower owns and manages the electricity distribution network in Melbourne's central business district and inner suburbs. Within CitiPower's 157 square kilometre network are the headquarters of some of Australia's largest companies and most important cultural and sporting icons, such as the Melbourne Cricket Ground, Melbourne Park and the Victorian Arts Centre.

We use sophisticated software to monitor our network and invest millions each year in maintenance and development to ensure a reliable and high quality electricity supply for our customers.

Improving the reliability of our network is a major focus for CitiPower. Based on the Essential Services Commission's annual performance reports, CitiPower has the highest reliability performance standards of any electricity distribution network in Australia. Our challenge is to continue to improve on these high standards, and maintain our reputation as Australia's most reliable urban distribution network.
