Online Permits

CitiPower and Powercor requires a number of conditions to be satisfied for certain types of work within our distribution networks, and we issue permits to demonstrate these conditions have been met before work commences.

Before you start any work in the vicinity of our overhead or underground network, you must gain a Permit to Work from CitiPower or Powercor. This will only be issued after one of our representatives has assessed your work site, through a Site Visit.

CitiPower or Powercor must grant approval for your transport of loads greater than 5.0 metres within in our distribution areas. You may also need to gain a permit to transport a high load from VicRoads

You must advise us when you have completed permitted works within our electricity networks.

You can request a Permit to Work Site Visit, apply to transport a high load within our networks and advise us when you have completed permitted works through the online forms in this section. In submitting these forms, please include all requested information and any other information that you think may be helpful to your application.
