Degree required: Bachelor or Master of Engineering (Electrical Engineering)
You’ll have the opportunity to gain experience in a variety of areas including:
- Network planning: optimising the network to meet the needs of customers and communities
- Network strategy: shaping a network for the future as the energy industry evolves
- Distribution and substation design: helping design and develop new assets for construction
- Asset management: implementing policies and processes to ensure our assets meet business requirements
- Commissioning: incorporating new equipment into the network
- Control and operations: maintaining the network and enhancing operational excellence
- Solar farm operations and performance: exposure to the wide variety of engineering works available
- Project engineering: providing technical input for all aspects of a project
- Project management: delivering projects to maintain network safety, reliability and security
