There are a couple of options available to you to help you stay informed about power outages in your area and to receive reminders about planned works that may interrupt your supply.
1. Receive SMS alerts and email notifications
You can receive text message alerts and updates during major outages as well as reminders if there is a planned interruption to your supply for scheduled maintenance.
If you are the account holder with your retailer and your retailer has provided us with your mobile phone number you will automatically be subscribed to SMS notifications. Subscriptions are updated quarterly.
Self Service Subscription
If you would like to manage your own subscription, you can register on our Self Service Portal where you can add additional properties, select quiet times and choose notifications via SMS, email or both.
You will need the National Meter Identifier (NMI) for your property. This can be found on your electricity bill from your retailer and is a 10 or 11 digit number.
